Description:
The NuLink 2000 (NP-FFB-SFM-300) is a unique Fast Ethernet-to-FDDI bridge providing wire-speed networking between an FDDI and a 10/100 Ethernet network. Geared for high reliability and redundancy, the NuLink 2000 has built-in redundant power supply connectivity that delivers non-stop operation.??Designed to provide maximum flexibility, the NuLink 2000 comes with a single-attach station (SAS) connection available on multi-mode fiber (MMF) media and an SAS on unshielded twisted pair (UTP). The Fast Ethernet interface offers equal flexibility. NPI's media adapter technology lets users change media by selectively installing either a UTP or MMF connector rather than buying a new bridge. Furthermore, the bridge is an auto-sensing 10/100 link that supports either switched or Fast Ethernet connectivity. Users can also select between full- and half-duplex modes. Reflecting NPI's extensive experience in FDDI and Fast Ethernet, the NuLink 2000 is engineered for "Plug and Play" installation.
