This is a NEW NetApp 8.4TB FAS3160 Filer System with 2 DS14MK4 Shelves each with (14) X279A-R5 300GB 15,000 RPM Fibre Channel Hard Drives (28 total). Includes a Three Year Next Business Day Warranty.
This FAS3160 is a 8.4TB 6U rack-mountable system filer in which the system enclosure contains a single controller. Included in this package are 2 DS14MK4 shelves each with (14) X279A-R5 300GB 15,000 RPM Fibre Channel Hard Drives (28 total). The FAS3160 can cluster internally to double both the performance and fail safe redundancy. The FAS3160 is scalable up to 672TB with the addition of up to 48 additional disk shelves and 672 hard drives. Please see table below for detailed specifications.
